Proof That We’re All in This Together
Reflecting on this week's episodes with Jim Tucker & Britta Jo
What if death isn’t the end—but just the beginning of your next chapter? We’ve talked a lot about a lot of paradigm shifting concepts here on MBB. But this week, we go deep into the heart of esoteric with the unbelievably impossibly groundbreaking question: do we live on after we die? The person to tackle this is the foremost expert on understanding reincarnation from a completely clinical perspective, child psychiatrist Dr. Jim Tucker.
Dr. Jim Tucker is the recently-retired former director of University of Virginia’s Division of Perceptual Studies, as well as the Bonner Lowry Professor of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences. He has spent his entire career examining evidence that consciousness can live on after we die and provides us with a truly practical examination and systematic analysis of reports that are outside of our typical understanding of the experience of dying. He is one of the most respected voices in his field and we get to ask him all the questions we are sure you want to know!
Dr. Tucker talks about his books, Life Before Life and Return to Life of the over 2,000 children documented who remember past lives or claim to be people from the past. He explores what this evidence means for us as we try to break down our understanding of the material world and the afterlife. It’s mind blowing!
It gets more than a little spooky (in the best way) as he describes the patterns among these children and how trauma may link past deaths to new lives. Dr. Tucker is an open-minded skeptic who cannot deny that something is going on here beyond our current understanding! We also get super out there as we discuss the Akashic Records, and extrasensory abilities and near-death experiences. We were really blown away by Dr. Tucker admitting that when it comes to life after life, we truly can’t rule anything out!
Also.... for today’s MBB Explores, Britta Jo (Stay or Go Life Coaching) discusses why why so many women feel trapped in unhappy marriages, and the emotional, cultural, and psychological forces that make leaving so hard. She gives excellent advice not just for those seeking divorces but anyone who is in a place where they might feel stuck or unsure of what to do next.
We are so excited to continue to explore the many aspects of what makes us human here with you. With Dr. Jim Tucker and Britta Jo, we hope you found ways to improve your life and your relationships. Please let us know your takeaways from these episodes, questions you wished we had asked and how you are growing towards betterment!

Loved this episode I love the topic of spirituality!
I love the direction you are going with your explorations. It has been a long time coming to have science at least start to acknowledge that consciousness is the foundation, not the material world, and that there is energy all around us that our instruments cannot fully measure.
I was excited to hear you mention the Akashics. I found Teri Uktena and her Akashic Reading podcast a couple months ago. She echoed my understanding of Reiki as the energy surrounding us as being the same as Qi (and the Akashics). I would Love to hear an interview with her and the two of you!
